iPod Charger - 2 - Schematic.

Once I'd gotten the necessary research done, the design was a piece of cake. Due to time considerations, I decided to favor simplicity and ease of construction, along with size and to sacrifice efficiency, heating and many other factors I'm a little worried about. Well, its not pretty, not yet, but it'll have to do. Next step: Route the traces into a PCB, etch it and solder the components.

Just for the sake of simplicity, J1 is the connector to the 9V Battery, the big rectangular box is the 7805 voltage regulator or DC/DC converter that's gonna get me a steady 5 volts and while the two sections look like they're completely isolated, remember that the positive and grounding grids run common, connecting them.

Over and Out.
