Coasting along, enjoying the breeze.

Well, that's exactly what I'm doing. For the past one month, I've been coasting along at a frequency of my own, never quite tuning in to school work, or anything that I've been wanting to do. Well, I'm back, baby!

Ran 3.2 km today. Best feeling in the world after taking a shower, although I suspect my calves are gonna be stiff tomorrow. :)

Finished everything I had to do in one go. Too me about two and a half hours, but I finished everything that was nominally important. Yay me!

Drew up a list of everything I'd like to build for this term. Couple of them are:
AA Battery charger for my ipod: I thought of creating a charge pump centered around one or two AA batteries to charge my ipod, should be quite efficient. Thing is I'm gonna be going for WOW in a few weeks and I'm unsure if I power is readily available there. With this and armed with a couple of batteries, I'll be set for the week. Hopefully I won't have to buy one of these things because they're bloody expensive.

Hmm... Pull-ups are definitely gonna be tricky, at 7.5 and 49.

A timer for the A/C in my room: I'd originally imagined something controlled by a micro, but now I think a 555 can do it. That should keep it small and concealed. Problem here is that the Air-Conditioning in my room is centrally controlled to turn off at certain points in time and stay off for a certain amount of time, but there's no way to turn it on automatically. So if you forget or if you're sleeping, you miss it. M idea was to create a small circuit that drew power from the main lines, stayed concealed in the remote control unit itself and turned the AC on when its possible to. It would definitely save me and my room-mate a lot of hassle.

So, that's it for now. I'm really looking forward to working on these in the weekend, will keep the blog posted with any and all updates.
Over and Out.
